Sometimes words aren’t enough or can feel too hard to find. Working creatively in therapy can help you explore feelings and thoughts in a different way. We might use drawing, collage, painting or clay to express what’s difficult to say out loud.

You don’t need to be good at art — it’s about the process, not the product. Creative work can help you see things from a fresh perspective, release emotions and connect with parts of yourself that words can’t always reach.
